Dana Eden, the Emmy-winning producer who brought Israeli drama to a global audience with the spy thriller "Tehran," died Feb. 15, 2026. She was 52.

Joining her father’s company in 1996, Eden eventually took over leadership of Dana Productions as he managed Parkinson’s disease. Her first major project, the series "Teenage Dreams," ran for three years starting in 1997. She later co-founded Donna and Shula Productions alongside Shula Spiegel, focusing on high-quality narratives with international appeal.

The TV Insider reported that Eden was in Athens, Greece, overseeing production for the fourth season of "Tehran" at the time of her death. This series earned an International Emmy Award for Best Drama Series, marking a significant milestone for the Israeli television industry. As a prominent television producer, she gained recognition for her ability to translate local stories into formats that resonated with viewers worldwide.

Greek authorities are investigating her death as a suicide based on initial evidence and testimonies, though an official cause remains pending an autopsy and investigation. According to the Times of Israel, the inquiry began after she was discovered in her hotel room.
