Sandra Mendoza, an Argentine politician who represented the Justicialist Party in the national legislature, died in Buenos Aires on Feb. 11, 2026. She was 62.
Mendoza began her tenure in the Chamber of Deputies in 2009. As a member of the lower house of the Argentine Congress, she participated in national legislative sessions during a period of significant political transitions within the country.
The Justicialist lawmaker served two terms in office, representing her constituents for eight years. Her service in the Chamber of Deputies concluded in 2017.
