Elly Idris, an Indonesian international footballer and manager, died Feb. 12, 2026, after suffering from an illness. He was 63.

During his playing career, Idris represented the Indonesian national team and competed for several prominent domestic clubs. He played for Yanita Utama and Krama Yudha Tiga Berlian before joining Pelita Jaya and Persita Tangerang.

After retiring from active play, the former international transitioned into coaching. He served as the manager for Persibom Bolaang Mongondow and later returned to lead Persita Tangerang from the technical area. Idris died at Cinta Kasih Hospital in Ciputat, South Tangerang.
